Minister for Education, Dan Tehan has announced Education Services Australia (ESA) as the successful tenderer to deliver the Mathematics Massive Open Online Courses (Mathematics Online Courses) and online Mathematics Hub.
ESA was selected through an open tender process and will work in partnership with the University of Adelaide to deliver this project.
The Mathematics Online Courses and Hub project is part of an Australian Government funding initiative of $9.5 million to develop online teaching and learning resources for mathematics and numeracy.
Work on the project is now under way. Once complete the free and nationally available Mathematics Online Courses and Hub will provide centralised, contemporary resources and tools to support teachers to deliver high quality mathematics and numeracy education across Australia’s school sector. Resources will be progressively rolled out from December this year.
