Stuartholme School has been named Excellence Awardee for Australian Boarding School of the Year and Innovation in Learning Environment Design.

Stuartholme School, a leading Catholic girls’ day and boarding school in Brisbane, is excited to announce its dual recognition as an Excellence Awardee for the Australian Boarding School of the Year for the second consecutive year, and as an Excellence Awardee for Innovation in Learning Environment Design in the prestigious Australian Education Awards.

The Australian Boarding School of the Year reflects the school’s dedication to providing a supportive home environment, focused innovative teaching and learning programs, student wellbeing and setting students up for success beyond the Stuartholme boarding gates.

“As we commence National Boarding Week at Stuartholme School, this recognition underscores our boarding community, involving day school staff, boarding staff and parents, who are committed to producing a boarding house that is accessible, connected and future-facing that produces critical, creative thinkers and learners who can innovate for the future globally,” Dean of Boarding Ms Jane Morris said.

Furthermore, Stuartholme School has been commended for its innovative approach to learning environment design for the newly introduced Junior School Program. Prior to welcoming the first junior school students to the school this year, in 2023, the school laid the groundwork for every graduate’s future success through its Junior School Innovation in Learning Environment Design initiative.

Crafted to facilitate small group learning, this pioneering design arrangement optimises purpose-designed learning spaces, aligning seamlessly with the Stuartholme graduate vision – one characterised by courage, compassion, and confidence to effect positive change in their lives and the lives of others.

Principal Mr Daniel Crump expressed his pride in the school’s achievements.

“We are honoured to be recognised by these awards, which reflect our ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation in education. At Stuartholme, we are dedicated to enhancing student outcomes but also providing a safe space for girls to thrive, nurturing their development while challenging them to cultivate the attributes necessary to make a meaningful impact on the world.”

“These awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff, students, and broader community.”

Stuartholme School remains steadfast in its mission to deliver exceptional education and foster a culture of innovation, preparing students to become compassionate, confident, and competent leaders of tomorrow.
