In a significant move to bolster child safety across Australian schools, Campion Education has announced a strategic partnership with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
The collaboration aims to expand the reach of vital programs that protect children from violence and trauma, both online and offline.
As Australia’s largest education supplier, Campion Education will play a key role in amplifying the Foundation’s initiatives, including the widely respected eSmart program. This digital safety education initiative equips students and educators with the tools to navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Through Campion’s MyConnect2 platform – accessed by over half a million school staff and students annually – eSmart resources will be seamlessly integrated into everyday learning environments.
The partnership comes at a time when child safety is under increasing scrutiny. Recent research reveals that six in ten Australian children experience maltreatment during childhood, and half of all young people report being targeted by harmful online behaviour.
Beyond digital safety, Campion will also support the Foundation’s Care programs, which provide practical aid to children in crisis. This includes contributing books and stationery to Buddy Bags – backpacks filled with essentials like pyjamas, toiletries, and a comforting teddy bear for children entering emergency care.
