In celebration of National Water Week, running from 21-27 October, Smart Approved WaterMark has launched a national competition that encourages students to share what they think and love about water for the chance to win water efficient products for their school.

Smart Approved WaterMark’s work includes certifying water efficient products and services in Australia and Europe and providing advice to communities on saving water around the home, garden, school and business in the form of the Smart Water Advice program.

Open to students from pre-school to Year 12, the Get Creative competition invites pre-schoolers to enter by completing colouring sheets and primary and high school students to enter by creating a unique artwork submission that reflects what they love about water.

Smart Approved WaterMark will select three winners, who will each receive a prize pack for their school, which includes donations from Terracottem, Hoselink and Hunter Industries. The selection of products aims to assist schools to improve their soil, water lawns and manage their land more efficiently, ahead of summer.

In addition to the prize packs, winning schools will also receive a free Water Efficiency Audit, courtesy of Irrigation Australia Association.
