Kimberley College continues to grow and evolve as a leading educational community in South-East Queensland, with exciting new developments, student success stories, and opportunities for families to experience what makes our school so unique.

We are proud to share the inspiring story of alumnus Riley, who graduated in 2024 with an impressive ATAR of 97.5. Since leaving Kimberley College, Riley has been awarded both a $40,000 Commonwealth Teaching Scholarship and a $2,500 Aspiring Teachers Grant—a remarkable recognition of his potential and passion.

He is now studying a Bachelor of Mathematics/Master of Teaching (Secondary) at QUT and thriving as a university student. Motivated by the exceptional teachers he encountered at Kimberley College, Riley has always dreamed of becoming a teacher himself. Alongside his studies, he is now building a successful home tutoring business, helping current Year 10–12 students excel in Mathematics and Physics.

At Kimberley College, we are committed to nurturing future leaders like Riley through our holistic, student-centred approach to learning. With a calm, semi-rural campus setting at Carbrook and a strong emphasis on academic, emotional, and social development, we provide every student with the opportunity to grow into a confident and capable young adult.

In line with our continued focus on innovation and excellence, we’re excited to announce the development of a new state-of-the-art Science Lab, enhancing hands-on learning opportunities across STEM subjects. This modern facility will further support our strong academic programs and provide students with real-world, inquiry-based science education.

Prospective families are warmly invited to see Kimberley College in action at one of our 2025 Open Days or Campus Tours. These events offer a chance to explore our campus, meet our passionate staff, and discover the many ways our school supports students from Prep to Year 12.

At Kimberley College, we believe in preparing students for life—not just exams. We are proud of our alumni like Riley, and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of learners into our vibrant and forward-thinking school community.
