In June, John Paul College (JPC) was identified as a finalist in the Australian Education Awards for four individual categories including School Principal of the Year – Non-government, Primary School Principal of the Year – Non-government, Best Co-Curricular Program and Best Professional Learning Program.
The Australian Education Awards are highly prestigious and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top-performing K-12 schools, principals, department heads and teachers.
JPC’s robust and strategic pedagogical professional learning program for teachers is highly regarded and a clear standout for these nominations along with the extensive co-curricular program offered, which is made up of over 65 ensembles and choirs, 210 sporting teams and activities, and community care and outreach program for students.
JPC’s fantastic NAPLAN results, in 2018 and 2019, is a direct reflection of the teachers and leaders that make the difference in the College’s strategy, teaching and achievement of academic student outcomes.
