Felton Industries, Australia’s leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of premium Australian-made aluminium outdoor furniture, has unveiled its new comfort grandstand range.

This innovative product range delivers enhanced comfort, flexibility, and functionality while maintaining Felton’s signature quality, durability, and sustainability. It offers a superior seating solution for community events and sporting venues across sporting clubs, councils, and schools.

The comfort grandstand range introduces wider seating and expanded foot space for greater comfort and accessibility. It prevents cramped conditions and supports easier navigation, enhancing the spectator experience.

Mr Simon Clayton, product marketing manager, said Felton Industries is excited to introduce a new era of comfort with the comfort grandstand range.

“Attending sporting events and community gatherings should be enjoyable, and the new comfort grandstand design delivers that. The wider seating, increased legroom, and improved safety features reflect Felton’s commitment to enhancing the lives of its customers and their communities,” he said.

“Felton constantly innovates to meet customer needs, and greater customisation options set this range apart from previous products. Customers can choose from various frame and end cap colours to match their school, club, or organisation’s branding, creating a grandstand unique to its community.”

The comfort range builds on Felton’s existing single-plank grandstands. The new design offers twice the space for each seat so patrons can sit comfortably and navigate stands without disturbing others. This innovation responds to market demands for seating solutions that let spectators enjoy sporting events and community gatherings in comfort.

The comfort grandstand range comes in various sizes and tiers, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of venues. Key features include:

  • widths of 3m, 4m, and 6m
  • three-tier and four-tier seating configurations available
  • customisable frame and end cap colours (metallic silver planks remain standard).

The comfort grandstand range is made from premium aluminium, making it a lightweight, durable, and 100 per cent recyclable outdoor seating solution for environmentally conscious customers. The X-brace construction enhances safety, giving users confidence in their stability and support.

Felton has also introduced optional rollers, a four-wheel trolley system that lets grandstands be relocated easily, making the comfort grandstand more portable. This flexibility makes it ideal for schools and venues needing offsite and onsite versatility.

“The comfort grandstand range represents a major step forward in comfort, accessibility, and sustainability,” Mr Clayton said.

“Felton is excited to bring this new product to market and looks forward to seeing how it transforms outdoor experiences across Australia for councils, sporting clubs, and schools looking to provide comfortable, practical seating for their members and visitors.”
