Felton Industries, Australia’s leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of premium Australian-made aluminium outdoor furniture, has announced the launch of its new Tow & Fold grandstand range, a high-capacity mobile seating solution engineered to deliver stadium-style spectator experiences anywhere, anytime.

Designed for councils, schools, sporting clubs, stadiums, and event organisers, the Tow & Fold grandstand transforms from a compact towable trailer into a nine-tier grandstand seating up to 200 people. The innovative hydraulic lift system means a single operator can deploy the structure in approximately five minutes, with the lift mechanism converting the unit from trailer to grandstand in as little as 10 seconds.

The Tow & Fold range addresses growing demand for flexible, compliant, and cost-effective temporary seating solutions across Australia’s regional and metropolitan venues. From community sports carnivals and school assemblies to festivals, parades, and elite sporting tournaments, the mobile grandstand lets organisations host large-scale events without the constraints or expense of permanent infrastructure.

The grandstand is constructed from heavy duty steel and premium aluminium and engineered to meet Australian standards.

Felton Industries product marketing manager Mr Simon Clayton said Tow & Fold redefines what portable grandstands can be.

“Felton Industries has created a solution that lets councils, schools, and event operators set up professional, high-capacity seating with minimal labour and maximum efficiency. One person can position and deploy the unit in minutes, eliminating the ongoing costs and complexity of scaffold-style temporary seating.”

The nine-tier configuration provides elevated sightlines and a concentrated seating footprint, creating a professional stadium atmosphere while remaining space-efficient. With a 12-metre width and capacity for up to 200 spectators, the Tow & Fold grandstand is ideal for regional councils seeking multi-purpose infrastructure, private schools managing weekly sporting fixtures, and hire companies looking for revenue-generating event assets.

Constructed from heavy duty steel and premium aluminium and engineered to meet Australian standards, the Tow & Fold grandstand offers durability, compliance, and long-term performance in demanding outdoor environments. The enclosed tiers, non-slip surfaces, and structural certification help councils, schools, and event organisers meet their legal and insurance obligations with confidence.

“Many organisations are currently relying on labour-intensive temporary scaffolding that must be erected and dismantled for each event. Tow & Fold dramatically reduces setup time, labour costs, and logistical complexity, while delivering a safe and professional spectator experience. It’s an investment that pays for itself through efficiency, longevity, and increased event capacity,” Mr Clayton said.

The unit is towable and forklift-ready so it can be easily relocated between sites, ovals, parks, and event venues. When not in use, the grandstand folds down compactly for storage, protecting the asset from weather exposure and freeing up valuable facility space. Multiple units can also be positioned next to each other for larger events or distributed across multiple fields during tournaments.

The Tow & Fold range is particularly suited to:

  • regional councils hosting community sport, festivals, and civic events
  • private schools and universities requiring high-capacity seating for weekly fixtures and assemblies
  • hire and event companies seeking a scalable, revenue-generating seating asset
  • stadiums and sporting complexes needing overflow or secondary field seating
  • military and emergency services requiring temporary seating for parades and ceremonies.

Key features:

  • nine-tier grandstand configuration
  • seating capacity for up to 200 people
  • hydraulic lift system enabling deployment by one operator
  • approximate five-minute setup time
  • towable trailer format with forklift access
  • structural engineering that’s certified to Australian standards
  • heavy duty steel and premium aluminium construction for durability and low maintenance
  • compact fold-down design for efficient storage.

The Tow & Fold grandstand meets growing demand for flexible infrastructure that supports expanding community sport participation, large-scale regional events, and multi-use venue management. By combining portability, rapid deployment, compliance, and high capacity in a single structure, Felton Industries continues its commitment to designing practical, future-ready seating solutions for Australian communities.

The Tow & Fold grandstand range is available nationally from February 23, 2026. For more information, visit https://felton.net.au.
