Australian-made premium aluminium outdoor furniture manufacturer, Felton Industries, has announced the launch of Eco-Trend Solar, a new solar-lit sheltered seating.

The lights are available as an add-on for the Felton Eco Trend shelter, offering an additional layer of functionality to enhance outdoor spaces. The lights integrate seamlessly with the Eco Trend shelter, giving users greater flexibility to customise their facilities.

The new product reinforces Felton’s commitment to sustainability and safety while offering additional customisation options for its outdoor solutions.

The 500-lumen solar light range operates entirely on solar power, eliminating the need for A/C power or manual switches. The solar lights are fitted with a motion detector that adjusts brightness to conserve energy, glowing at 30 per cent when not in use and increasing to 85-100 per cent upon detecting movement.

They hold up to 40 hours of light on a single charge, making them a reliable and energy efficient solution for outdoor areas where safety and sustainability are paramount, including schools, sporting facilities, local council areas, agriculture, construction, and mining and industrial sites.

“The new solar light range represents Felton’s commitment to delivering practical, innovative solutions that address real-world challenges,” says Mr Simon Clayton, product marketing manager at Felton Industries.

“Harnessing solar energy provides sites with reliable visibility in areas without traditional power access while supporting sustainability goals. Each unit is custom, engineer-designed to be vandal resistant providing additional assurance that the shelters are protected.”

He said safety is a key driver in the solar light range’s design.

“The new lights deliver consistent performance while reducing the safety risks associated with poor lighting across construction sites, industrial areas, and council-managed spaces. The vandal-resistant design reinforces the product’s longevity, even in high-traffic or remote locations,” Mr Clayton said.

The solar light range features a robust, stainless-steel casing that withstands harsh outdoor conditions.

Its motion detector improves energy efficiency and enhances safety by delivering increased brightness exactly when it’s needed. This makes the solar light range suited to councils, parklands, and industrial sites, where well-lit spaces can help reduce vandalism and improve security.

“Offering customisation options like the new solar lights gives customers across various industries greater flexibility to adapt solutions to their environment. This reflects Felton’s mission to continually innovate and provide outdoor solutions that deliver comfort, safety, and sustainability,” Mr Clayton said.

Eco-Trend Solar is available now. For more information and pricing options visit https://felton.net.au/shop/shelters/eco-trend-solar/ or contact Felton on 1800 834 016.
