Corwin, a leading provider of PreK-12 professional learning solutions, today announced the launch of its professional publishing program in Australia.

Corwin, a SAGE company, is an independent, family owned organization that partners with authors and consultants to design, develop, and deliver practical, research-based professional learning solutions that build capacity and positively impact instructional practice. For nearly 30 years, Australian educators have been using Corwin books to support ongoing professional development. Through the launch of the professional publishing program in Australia, educators will now be able to purchase peer-reviewed, ready-to-use learning resources directly from Corwin.

Built around the work of some of the most respected experts in education, Corwin’s publishing program features a rich collection of titles, including: Coherence by Michael Fullan and Joanne Quinn, Better Conversations by Jim Knight, TheChallenging Learning series by James Nottingham, Schools that Deliver by John Edwards and the Visible Learning for Literacy and Visible Learning for Mathematics by John Hattie, Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey.

Corwin began to expand its presence in the Australian market with the opening of its office in Melbourne in 2015 to deliver Visible Learningplus professional learning services. The launch of the publishing program enables Corwin to extend its support for Australian educators with a broader range of resources to address the challenges they face in their schools and classrooms.

“We are excited to reach more educators in Australia and provide them with best-in-class professional development solutions that make a positive impact on educational practices and advance student learning. Our professional publishing program has been built on developing practical tools and resources from the foremost thought leaders and experts to help educators know their impact and to enable all students to learn and succeed,” said Mike Soules, President of Corwin.

To better serve the Australian market, Corwin has partnered with Footprint Books in Sydney to distribute books locally. Schools and educators can explore the full catalog of Corwin books and resources online at au.corwin.com.
