Excursions – planning, logistics… A headache right? Not at Live Wire Park.

The team at Live Wire Park know that organising a school excursion can often feel like another task on a never ending to-do list.

“That’s why we have made it our mission to make the booking process as seamless as possible,” they said.

“From the initial booking request all the way through to when your group arrives at the park, clear communication from our experienced staff allows teachers to focus on what really matters; an unforgettable experience with their students. “

For teachers, the school excursion experience at Live Wire Park is just as rewarding for them, as it is for the students.

“While the day is one full of adventure, challenge and fun for young people, it’s also a unique opportunity for teachers to step into a new role; one of support, encouragement and friendship, something not always possible within the four walls of a classroom,” the team said.

At Live Wire Park, teachers enter free of charge and are not only welcome, but encouraged to engage and participate in the activities with their students.

“This ensures students feel supported, but also allows educators to view their students in an entirely new light.”

“Away from screens, schedules and the usual classroom routine, students open up in remarkable ways, and teachers get to witness it firsthand. These shared experiences often translate back into the classroom as stronger relationships, improved communication and a renewed sense of trust and connection between teachers and their students.”

Not only does a day at Live Wire Park provide enjoyment and a unique experience, but also creates space for educators to see how students can thrive when they are challenged in different environments.

“At Live Wire Park, we believe excursions should be as enjoyable and enriching for teachers as they are for students, and we’re proud to make that happen.”
