CASIO LAMP FREE PROJECTORS

With close to 90% of global market share in the Laser and LED Hybrid projector category* , Casio has been leading the way as a technological innovator since its invention of the first Laser & LED Hybrid light source projector in 2010.

Casio was the first full-size projector manufacturer to do away completely with lamps. Our Hybrid Light Source capitalizes on the best of laser, fluorescent and LED technologies to produce an image just as bright as mercury lamps, but also longer lasting, more eco-friendly and far less power consuming. We’re expecting this technology to spread quickly throughout the projector world.

At 2,000-4,000 lumens, this hybrid projector far outshines its LED-only predecessors. The Hybrid Laser and LED light source is based on a red LED and Blue Laser. Apart from providing Blue light, the fluorescent element converts blue laser light into green light. The red, blue and green colours combine to form white light.

While the performance of conventional projector mercury lamps falls off visibly with increasing age (around 2000 hours by 50%), the Hybrid Light Source maintains consistent brightness and superior colour. The Hybrid Light Source lasts up to 20,000 hours. It reaches its maximum brightness in a mere 8 seconds and requires no cooling down period. Old mercury lamps can be damaged if unplugged before the cooling down period ends.

CASIO is distributed through Shriro Holdings Limited. Shriro is a leading Kitchen Appliances and Consumer Products marketing and distribution group operating in Australia and New Zealand. The Group markets and distributes an extensive range of products under company-owned brands (Omega, Robinhood, Everdure, Neil Perry Kitchens by Omega and Omega Altise), and third-party brands (Casio, Blanco and Pioneer) in Australia and New Zealand.
