NT Learning Adventures

NT Learning Adventures are a collaboration of educational tourism experiences in the Northern Territory. Our adventures offer school excursions aligned with the Australian curriculum, specializing in the cross-curriculum priorities of Aboriginal histories and culture, Asia, and Australia’s engagement with Asia and sustainability. The NT is vast and full of inspiring and educational destinations. With the rich living culture of Australia’s Aboriginal people, combined with the history of exploration, modern discoveries and the bustling vibrancy of modern towns, the learning opportunities are beckoning.

Our operators can specialize in a variety of key learning areas from the curriculum as well as any specific subjects that are of interest.

  • Study the rock formations of Uluru and Kata Tjuta which are believed to have been formed over 500 million years ago.
  • Inquire into the impact that Darwin and the ‘Top End’ suffered during WWII.
  • Find out how the ‘Bombing of Darwin’ was the largest ever air raid placed on Australian soil and how Darwin survived this.
  • Look into the variety of Aboriginal art that is displayed throughout the NT and how these differences are represented through culture and beliefs.

The NT really does offer something for everyone of a variety of ages, and NT Learning Adventure operators are there to provide the best school excursion specifically for your students.
